Mechanical Fitter

Carry out mechanical fitting, assembly, maintenance, and repair work on plant and equipment to support safe and efficient site operations.

The Role

• Mechanical assembly, fitting, and alignment
• Maintenance and repair of pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and conveyors
• Fault-finding on mechanical systems
• Support planned maintenance and breakdowns
• Follow health & safety procedures and complete basic paperwork

About You

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role
• Strong mechanical hands-on background
• Ability to read drawings and use hand/power tools
• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent qualification preferred
